Mychoreography is an autonomous organization based in Stockholm – it’s a node for experimentation, process, production, presentation, publishing and mess, based in Sweden and active globally.

Mychoreography is choreography expanded, production disabled, process forever and groundbreaking dissensus. To a certain extent, it departs from the former MA in choreography at DOCH in Stockholm. Mychoreography labors for transformation and expansion of landscapes occupied by dance, choreography, performance, rainbows, pop and remixes.

A part of Mychoreography, and as part of my MA in choreography, I have been partaking in writing the book The Coming Boogie-Woogie, an encyclopedic dictionary on choreography, and arranging the festival The Coming Boogie-Woogie at MDT in December 2011. Mychoreography is usually part of the production of The Swedish Dance History, a publication made through dance’s collective effort to realize its history and ultimately to claim the right to its future.

Mychoreography is: Nadja Hjorton, Kim Hiorthöy, Stina Nyberg, Zoë Poluch, Juli Reinartz, Mårten Spångberg, Andrea Csaszni-Rygh, Ludvig Daae, Emma Kim-Hagdahl, Linnéa Martinsson, Stina Nyström, Pontus Pettersson, Amanda Apetrea, Halla Ólafsdóttir, Sidney Leoni, Johan Thelander, Uri Turkenich, Rebecka Stillman and more or less, depending on the situation.
